How often do we stop and say… “Wow …was I lucky!” If I hadn’t seen that lady on the corner I would have pulled out into the traffic.
So many things we can remember not happening because we were lucky… or good things that did… because we were were lucky. “Thank God I kept my mouth shut”… you know…
But maybe, just maybe… there is more to luck than meets the eye. I now look at good fortune as being “blessed”. A much more profound and positive way of looking at events. That I am not the center of everything… Hmmm…??
I am now grateful for the good things I can accomplish. Without gratitude it would all have little meaning… just as luck does.
Being grateful is an attitude. It is a way of life. It produces humility which others can see. They will be more comfortable with you. Something about you shows caring. You see more opportunities to seize a moment with an attitude of gratitude and do the unselfish.
Saying “God Bless You” to the cashier.
Cashing out with gratitude.
Now that’s the attitude.
